You can open a remote openSUSE desktop in an openSUSE client using XRDP. You can open a remote Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 desktop in a Linux client. You can control all the remote Windows or Linux servers from the various Windows or Linux clients. Two technologies do much the same thing.
