Jul 07, 2020 · I am not 100% sure about this, but it seems likely that you need to have a UK Apple ID, UK account, to be able to download the ITV Player app to your iPad/iPhone. This is very common strategy among TV channels who create apps for watching content, so I would not be surprised if ITV do the same. ITV Player is not working! Everything else works perfect, BBC iPayer, Demand 5, 4OD but ITV will not work from the guide menu or from the player app. ITV Player was also branded as ITV Net Player and referred to as the ITV Network Player in branding and communication around programming intended for consumption across the UK, such as on Virgin Media, before adopting the current name.
